"After a terrible experience with another doctor, I was extremely nervous about my appointment with Owen Health group. However, all the staff that I dealt with were great. Brittany, Dr. Jennifer Owen's PA was wonderful. She listened to all my concerns and assured me that my experience would be better than with the other doctor, and I would be well cared for. She was able to explain a few things that made me understand and agree that my previous experience was a one off and highly circumstantial. Doctors just don’t do that, they don’t take the time to call and discuss a negative experience! I would give her 7 stars if I could, simply for the initiative she took to call and chat with me. I truly appreciate the phone call Dr. Jenn!! 🫱🏼🫲🏻 Edited 9/12/24: My initial review was five stars in July 2024, but I’ve had several more experiences with the office and am sad to say that I will probably never go back. I left yesterday close to tears and felt very dismissed. I previously was seen by Brittany, PA and had a phenomenal experience, she was thorough and caring. During the visit with Brittany I had a few issues so she ordered a pelvic ultrasound. I came back a few weeks later for the ultrasound and that experience was great as well. When they called to give me my results of the pelvic ultrasound, which were negative, I was wondering what other treatment options were available. So the nurse went to speak with a provider and then called me back and said that Dr. Jenn wanted to see me in office to discuss further options. So an appointment was made for me to come into the office to speak with her. When I arrived, I was seen by a nurse practitioner who is very new to the practice and admittedly was still getting used to seeing this type of patient, she was very nice. We had a chat and then she would go talk to Dr. Jenn, and then the nurse prac would come back and play telephone, relaying what Dr. Jenn said, which was basically…sorry there’s nothing we can do, but we can refer you to another OB/GYN. The part that upset me is that the office called me and stated that Dr. Jenn wanted to see me personally and then when I show up, she couldn’t be bothered to even come talk to me, it made me feel like I wasn’t heard by the actual physician at all, and whenever I went to leave, she was standing at the nurses station writing on some paper, not 5 feet from where my exam room was. A three minute conversation would’ve at least let me leave feeling like she actually cared and that I wasn’t mislead about her wanting to see me. I love seeing nurse practitioners, they are actually my preference, but when the office calls me and tells me the physician wants to see me, that’s just what I expect to happen. And if she had been called away to an emergency or was elbows deep in a procedure, I could understand how it went down, but that was not the case because I saw her standing there. I guess I’ve just followed her on social media for so long and actually follow her during my nursing school OB rotation, I just felt like I expected a lot better from her….and that’s what hurt my feeling so bad. . Original Review: I had a lot of anxiety coming to a new OB/GYN but the folks at Owen Health Group made the experience great! The front staff was nice but not obnoxiously so and it was also good to see front staff members over the age of 30!! The process, after being pulled back, was good from start to finish. Brittany, PA, was thorough and asked me questions I never thought to bring up. I've never had such an in-depth conversation regarding my feminine health and I left feeling well cared for. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this medical office for my ladies past child bearing age."

I no longer sat down to open my book and Immediately was escorted to the exam room. My experience was Dr. Jennifer Owen was a great one.
